SALINEVILLE - Law enforcement officials are searching for a 19-year-old mentally disabled Salineville woman after she disappeared with an unidentified white male on Tuesday.

According to Salineville Police Chief Andrew Straley, village resident Chelsea Stofen was last seen in Salineville on Tuesday between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. with an unknown male suspect.

The male subject with whom Chelsea was last seen is described as being between 5'11'' and 6'1'' tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. Straley noted that, based on his investigation, it appears Stofen met the unknown male through a social media website.

Chelsea is 5'2'' with short dark brown hair that is spiked on the top and brown eyes. When she went missing she was wearing blue jeans, a green sweater and black boots that are calf high. She was also wearing glasses and carrying a silver purse.

Straley noted that Stofen has a disability which causes her to have a mental age younger than her actual age.

Straley says his department is working with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, including the Columbiana County Sheriff's Department, the State Highway Patrol, Missing and Exploited Children Agency, the FBI and BCI.
