A woman who lives on Cherry Valley Road, Leetonia, reported at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday her 16-year-old son refused to go to school and broke some windows after becoming angry. A deputy advised the mother she could file unruly charges against her son in county juvenile court.
Jeffrey Lewis reported pulling into the Westville Lake Marathon station on Westville Lake Road at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday and striking trucks belonging to Phoenix Promotion and Cornerstone Electric.
Laura Remish, Metz Road, Columbiana, reported Wednesday her grandmother was watching her children when a man wearing a Santa Claus stocking hat and vest came to her door, but she did not answer it. The man then left in an orange vehicle. After Remish returned home, another man driving a white car showed up and identified himself as being with Ohio Edison. The man said he was there to collect money or her electric would be turned off, but Remish told him she was current did not owe any money. After the man left, Remish called Ohio Edison, which told her the person was not from the company.
Gloria Hubbard, Hazel Run Road, Salineville, reported at 7:23 a.m. Wednesday seeing a man walking near her home. A deputy arrived and found Glenn Nicholas walking along the railroad tracks. He was given a ride home to a residence on Malone Road.
Eileen Campbell of Darlington, Pa., reported nearly striking a vehicle parked along Hillcrest Drive in Unity Township at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday. A deputy found a mini-van with a for sale sign in the window and called the number and spoke with Mike Horne, who was advised of the complaint and that he needed to move the vehicle.
Jane Coghe, state Route 14, East Palestine, reported Wednesday receiving threatening text messages from an unknown person. A deputy called the number and the man who answered denied sending text messages. The man was warned he would be charged if this continued.
Rachel Eason, Hammond School Road, Wellsville, called in regard to a domestic situation at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday. The deputy remained until an ambulance crew transferred a person from the residence to a local hospital.
