CHESTER - The Chester Lions Club will be distributing Christmas food baskets from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Chester Municipal Building.

WELLSVILLE - Christmas for the Animals, will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the gazebo on Main Street. Free toys, food and treats for your pet. Photo with Santa is $3. Sponsored by the Wellsville Animal Advocacy Group.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The ELHS Class of 1964 will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the home of Bob and Donna Forzano. All classmates and guests are invited. For information, call Mary at 330-532-4648 or e-mail the class at ELHSClassof64@yahoo.com.

EAST LIVERPOOL-The Sharing the Blessings free Community Lunch will be held 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday, at St. John Lutheran Church on Hill Blvd.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Quota Club has Terri Lynn nuts and mints available for sale at Four Seasons Mini Mart. Many varieties available.

WELLSVILLE - The Sons of Italy's Christmas Party is 6 p.m. Saturday. This will be a cover dish and all members and guest welcome.

EAST LIVERPOOL - Trinity Church, Maine Blvd., is collecting new or used blankets or monetary donation to buy blankets to help our area children keep warm this winter. Bring blankets to the church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Tuesday-Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Mail checks to Trinity Church, 110 Maine Blvd., PO box 190, East Liverpool Ohio 43920.

Mark checks to go to the blanket fund. For information, call 330-385-3557.

We the members of Trinity Church, who has firsthand knowledge of this situation, will distribute the blankets to the children in need.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The VFW Post 66 will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon, Sunday. The menu includes: eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, homefries, sausage gravy and biscuits, hotcakes, toast, tea or coffee.
