MIDLAND-Leo J. Duffy, 81, of Midland died Dec. 9, 2013 in Cambridge Village, Chippewa. Born Sept. 27, 1932 in Gallitzen, Pa., a son of the late Clarence and Irene McCloskey Duffy.

A 1951 graduate of Lincoln High School, Mr. Duffy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. A member of Saint Blaise Parish Family, he retired from Crucible steel Colt Industries.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Philomena DeCaria Duffy.

He leaves behind his family, Colleen and Michael Mallonee, Crownsville, Md., Mary Ann and Jeff Joy, Sterling, Va., Thomas and Cindi Duffy, Beaver Falls, and Leo and Bonnie Duffy, Beaver; his twin sister, Leona Cerasi, Ohioville, eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Thursday from 3-7 p.m. in the D.L. Williams Funeral Home, Midland, PA where a service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. His pastor, Rev. Fr. Michael Yaksick will officiate.

Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.

Full military rites will be presented by the American Legion Post 481 Honor Guard, Midland.
