I would like to respond to the high and mighty Mr. "Richard Keith Wolf" for his grandiose and overly dramatic letter to the editor, "In Response," of Oct. 20.
He wrote that letter in a defensive, mocking, and condescending tone that I would describe most kindly as disgusting. While he may in fact have been fundamentally correct, his attitudes and choice of words were - and frequently are - arrogant, combative, and dismissive.
Many of the negative things said about him and his service as a board member throughout his tenure are not about his technical correctness, but instead about his attitude and willingness to work with and hear and understand things beyond his narrow and rigid frame of view.
I can hope for a day when he learns not to talk down to every living soul with the arrogant air of moral and intellectual superiority that perpetually surrounds him, but I won't hold my breath.
