MIDLAND - Frances K. "Fran" (Monach) Steff of Midland passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born June 18, 1946, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Bradino (Ben) and Luby Trevino Monach, she was a graduate of Lincoln High School in 1964. Fran had worked for 34 years as a business administrator for various companies and she loved to bake and try new dishes for her family and friends.
She was the devoted wife of 48 years to Louis J. Steff Jr. Also surviving is a sister, Roberta (Christie) Krafft; a brother, Ben (Cathy) Monach; sister-in-law, Theresa (Bob) Begley; five nephews, Keith Grosvost, Sean (Danielle) Begley, Shane (Christy) Begley, Seth (Dorit) Begley, Steffen Begley; two nieces, Susan Olash, Cheryl Antoline; nine grandnieces, Erin Jarovich, Catherine, Allana, Tressa, and Shannon Begley, Lizzie Begley, Allison and Natalie Antoline, Lacee Olash; a grandnephew, David (Autumn) Groscost; her special friends, Marcy and Shawn Ratkovich, George and Donna Tarbuk, Kathy Arent, Carolyn Lewis; and many friends from Chapel Presbyterian Church in Brighton Twp, including Pastor Steve Maker and his wife Nancy.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland, where a service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. by Pastor Steve Maker.
