Phillip Balmanti, Depot Road, Rogers, reported at 6:16 p.m. Thursday his neighbor shot the window of his home with a BB gun. He spoke to the neighbor, who agreed to pay for the damage, but Balmanti just wanted a report on file.
Jack Halverstadt, no address listed, reported at 11:11 a.m. Saturday he was checking his aunt's summer home in Negley and found someone kicked the front door in. He checked, but did not find anything missing.
Deb Morris of Kaleidoscope, Peace Valley Road, East Palestine, reported at 9:14 a.m. Monday someone walked away from the home. Morris later reported he was found at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Mark Johnston, state Route 7, Lisbon, reported at 11:26 a.m. Monday sometime late Thursday or early Friday someone took about two 100-foot sections of copper welding leads valued at about $400.
Bethany Shelton, Main Street, Minerva, reported at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday her boyfriend, Steven Huth, had gone outside with another man, Jake Brown. The next thing she knew Brown left and she found Huth unconscious in the back yard. He was treated by Minerva EMTs and transported to Canton's Altman Hospital.
Bill Bryan, U.S. Route 30, Lisbon, reported at 9:21 p.m. Tuesday when he got home late and went to get his mail, the mailbox was gone.
An anonymous caller reported a domestic dispute at a Dyke Road, Negley, home at 3:19 a.m. Tuesday. Tami Ramage told deputies when she got home Nick Rhodes had been drinking, they got into an argument and he allegedly grabbed her by the throat and punched her. She had red marks on her neck and blood on her lower lip, but she refused to pursue charges.
When deputies responded to an alarm at West Point Carryout at 3:05 a.m. Saturday, they found the exhaust fan between the garage and the back of the building was open and pushed in. The grate had been pried open. A wooden pallet was propped up to be used as a ladder and someone had placed a wooden bar stool under the exhaust fan hole to make it easier for a burglar to get inside without hurting themselves. It is believed the alarm frightened the burglar away.
Crystal Holloway, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, reported at 4:39 p.m. Monday she believes her 13-year-old son broke the dog's leg and wanted to file charges against him. A deputy explained she had no proof and she became upset, hanging up on the deputy.
Danielle Leininger, Kibler Road, East Palestine, reported at 2:37 p.m. Sunday someone stole a book of checks in her mother's name from her vehicle, while it was parked in the driveway.
Rex Billiter Jr., South Mahoning Avenue, Alliance, reported at 9:49 p.m. Monday someone called attempting to blackmail him. He said the caller said they have a video of him and if he did not send $1,300 to an address in the Philippines the video would be posted on the Internet.
Dale Reed, Mountz Road, Salem, reported at 1:25 p.m. Sunday he was told by his sister their father told her he hired someone while he was incarcerated in the jail to kill the whole family. Deputies spoke to the sister, who said her father did tell her he was approached while he was in jail by men offering to take care of his family problems and that he did hire them.
