LISBON- Jerry F. Crislip, 73, of Lisbon, died at 11:32 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at his home following a long illness.
Born May 5, 1940, in Heaters, W.Va., he was a son of the late William R. and Beulah (Squires) Crislip. He graduated from Sutton High School in 1958.
He served in the Army from 1963 to 1965. He was a welding instructor for East Liverpool High School from 1975 to 1995.
Survivors include his wife Judy A. (Thirion) Crislip; his children Julie Crislip of Charlotte, N.C., and Jackie Shreeve of Lisbon, Jenna Boyd of Stow; two grandchildren; brothers, Terry Crislip of Burnsville, W.Va., and Larry Crislip, of West Union, W.Va.; and a stepsister Debra Godfrey of Weston, W.Va.
The funeral service officiated by Allan Foster will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
