His 2011 Chevrolet Silverado registered to the Frank Surveying Co. of Columbus, Texas, went off the side of the road and hit a pole. He was cited for failure to control.
Darrin Waselich, Columbiana-Lisbon Road, Columbiana, was eastbound on U.S. 62 in Butler Township on Friday when he hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Carl Kommel, Stanley Court, Beloit, pushing him into a vehicle driven by Jamie Randolph, West Middletown Road, Columbiana. Waselich was cited for assured clear distance.
Perry Fenton, Morning Road, Mechanicstown, was westbound on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 6:30 a.m. Friday when he swerved to miss a deer and went off the side of the road. He was cited for failure to control.
Clarence Kennedy, Gulfport, Miss., driving a vehicle owned by Chesapeake Energy, was westbound on state Route 558 in Fairfield Township at 4:42 p.m. Friday when he struck a vehicle owned by Gordon Brothers of Salem and driven by Dusten Smith, Eagleton Road, Lisbon, who was southbound on state Route 164. Kennedy was cited.
Stephen Raper, of Olmsted Falls, was northbound on state Route 7 in Fairfield Township at 4 p.m. Friday when he struck a stopped vehicle driven by Rose Reed, of Warren, pushing it into a vehicle driven by Dianna Clay, of Hubbard. Raper was cited for assured clear distance.
