An Oct. 15 pretrial was set for Scott A. Delp, 50, Charlton Drive, Lisbon, charged with resisting arrest, aggravated menacing and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for allegedly threatening to kill his wife while having a homemade machete.
A Nov. 12 pretrial was set for Donald A. Thomas, 53, Homestead Drive, Columbiana, charged with domestic violence on Sunday for allegedly pushing his wife against a wall, hitting her on both sides of her head, taking her cell phone and then hitting her again when she attempted to get it back.
A Nov. 18 pretrial was set for Nicholas F. Brierly, 24, Mount Orab, charged with OVI first offense, carrying a concealed weapon, criminal trespassing and possession of instruments to ingest or inhale controlled substances. According to court documents, Brierly was found trespassing at the Elkton Federal Prison, driving around the property, having a glass marijuana pipe on the front seat and a large machete-type hunting knife between the front seats.
A Nov. 21 pretrial was set for Jonathan Carl Kimble, 23, Kane, Pa., charged with OVI first offense and marked lanes.
A Dec. 5 pretrial was set for Ralph J. Moore III, 36, Hawkins Road, New Waterford, charged with OVI first offense.
A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for Joseph M. Smith, 27, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a spoon used for abusing heroin next to him when police arrived at the home due to a reported possible overdose.
A Dec. 3 pretrial was set for Joseph S. Ackerman, 27, Maplewood Drive, Columbiana, charged with OVI second offense and failure to yield the right of way.
In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Tuesday, Jessica A. Hill, 30, Lipincott Road, East Rochester, was fined $730, had her license suspended for 180 days and required to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense, a seat belt violation and parking on a highway.
Devan A. Glaze, 18, North Walnut Street, East Palestine, was fined $400 for underage consumption.
Sherry L. Harris, 53, Allegheny Trail, Negley, was fined $250, had her license suspended for three months, was required 20 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for reckless operation amended from OVI first offense. A failure to control citation was dismissed.
Christopher B. Nalepa, 46, state Route 170, East Palestine, was fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from weapons while intoxicated after he was found by police lying in the open doorway of his home with a spent .45-caliber casing laying on the ground next to him, a loaded .45-caliber handgun on the couch and a claim he made that he had fired the gun into the air.
Terry L. Adams Jr., 37, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $200, credited with two days served and sentenced to 28 additional days in jail for domestic violence for punching Ryan Brown in the side of the mouth and face on Aug. 20.
Gary Mason Jr., 39, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $150 and credited with 33 days served and sentenced to 57 additional days in jail for criminal mischief for entering a vehicle on Jan. 16 and assault for going into the home of Richard Powell on July 21 and striking him about the head.
Casey L. Reynolds, 34, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was fined $50 and ordered to pay $248 in restitution to Lease Drug within 30 days for passing bad checks.
Johnathan E. Peterson, 19, Cameron Road, Wellsville, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension. A failure to control citation was dismissed.
Otabek D. Abduvaliev, 19, Youngstown, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and marked lanes.
Steven A. Weinberg, 62, Bethel, Conn., was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.
Skip L. Miles, 39, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $350 and had his license suspended for 180 days for speeding, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Max Speier, 46, Warren, was fined $150 for speeding amended from commercial speeding.
Justin Lamp, 35, Foundry Hill Road, Summitville, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.
A receiving stolen property charge against Quint A. Witherow, 32, Spartain Road, Salineville, was dismissed. Witherow was accused of taking a vehicle while the owner was out of town on April 23.
An unauthorized use of a motor vehicle citation against Chad D. Raymond, 24, West Pershing Street, Salem, was dismissed. He had been accused of throwing an object belonging to his girlfriend out of the vehicle while stopped at a stop sign and when she got out to retrieve it, he allegedly got into the driver's seat of her father's vehicle and drove away on June 10.
A driving under suspension citation against Ashley Idell Floor, 21, Somer Street, Leetonia, was dismissed. She was fined $55 for a seat belt violation and rear plate.
A failure to produce registration for a commercial plate citation against Darren Glen Lindsey, 26, Millerton, Pa., was dismissed.
An Oct. 15 pretrial was set for Tammy L. Johnson, 45, East High Street, Salineville, charged with OVI third offense and improper registration.
An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for William E. Coe, 54, state Route 45, Lisbon, charged with passing bad checks and aggravated menacing for allegedly calling deputies for help and then telling a dispatcher he would fire upon deputies if they pulled into his driveway on Sept. 1. The passing bad checks citation allegedly involves a check written for groceries on April 6, 2010 at Campbell's Grocery.
An Oct. 24 pretrial was set for Justin O. Smith, 29, West State Street, Salem, cited with hit skip, driving under suspension and assured clear distance.
A Nov. 4 pretrial was set for Amanda Grace Obrien, 21, Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, cited with driving under OVI suspension and speeding.
A Nov. 7 pretrial was set for Aaron M. Pierson, 23, Academy Street, Salineville, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly having an MP3 player stolen from a home on Foundry Hill Road.
A Nov. 12 pretrial was set for Lisa D. Bentfeld, 45, Shady Lane, Lisbon, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension.
A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for Corey Y. Spencer, 18, Shady Lane, Salem, cited with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, OVI first offense and failure to display a valid sticker.
