Darby Billings reported Sept. 23 the driver's side window of his pickup truck with Kentucky plates was broken while parked on South Market Street. Billings said 100 gallons of diesel fuel with red dye in it were also stolen from the truck bed.
A woman who lives on East Washington Street reported Friday her 14-year-old daughter was involved in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy. The woman said they had just moved here recently and she did not know the boy had a reputation as a troublemaker. She told the boy to stay from her daughter but he has continued to follow her home from school and have contact with her. Police spoke with her daughter about staying away from him and then advised the boy and his mother the same.
Cathy DeFazio reported Saturday finding a Razor scooter at the corner of Prospect and North Market streets.
Kathy L. Fox, 53, Cusick Road, Lisbon, and Candace S. Shuman, 35, Samuel Street, East Liverpool, were charged with drug possession following a request for help on a traffic stop by the county Drug Task Force on South Market Street at 11:54 a.m. Wednesday. During the stop, police allegedly found drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.
Richard Whitacre Jr. reportedly clipped an ice machine and pulled the door off while delivering fuel for Kelly Oil to the Valley View convenience store at 12:36 p.m. Wednesday.
Tina Hendon reported Wednesday another vehicle struck her vehicle while she was in the Subway getting lunch.
While on patrol at 3 a.m. Tuesday an officer found the gate at Willow Grove Park had been damaged by what appeared to be a very large vehicle with dual wheels, which went over the fence post.
Angela G. Wright, 26, Dunn Street, East Liverpool, was cited for assured cleared distance after allegedly causing a chain-reaction three-vehicle accident at 5:42 p.m. Thursday. Theresa A. Bosel, 42, state Route 154, was stopped on Route 154, and behind her in traffic was Colin L. Baker, 18, also of Route 154. Wright reportedly drove into the rear of Baker's vehicle, with the impact pushing it into Bosel's vehicle. Wright was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
n Christine Davis, East Chestnut Street, reported Friday finding a "for sale by private owner" sign in her yard, but her home is not for sale. Davis called the number on the sign, which came back to Lisbon resident Howard Friend, who said he is trying to sell his home and that someone must have removed the sign from his yard.
n Dan Allison reported Thursday his real estate agent, Barbara Stamp, called to tell him his building on East Lincoln Way had been broken into and the copper wiring was stolen. The intruders also left the water on in the building.
n Police were called to the East Chestnut Street home on Matthew Jackson on Thursday afternoon, where Jackson reported being assaulted by his ex-girlfriend's brother while they were there retrieving some of her belongings. Jackson was going to press charges but changed his mind because his girlfriend's brother is their child's uncle and he is did not want him to be disciplined because he is serving in the military.
n A Morning Journal employee called to ask if anyone had turned in a cell phone which had been lost in the area of Rite Aid, Dollar General or Sparkle within the last few days.
