EAST LIVERPOOL - Beverly J. Deshler, 87 of East Liverpool, died at East Liverpool City Hospital Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, following a brief illness. She was born in East Liverpool on Jan. 20, 1926, a daughter to the late Logan and Ethel (Poole) Smith.
She lived her lifetime in this area, working as a buyer for many different ladies wear departments at the former D.M. Ogilvie Company, retiring after a lifetime of employment. She was a 1943 graduate of East Liverpool High School and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her two daughters; Vicki Worrell and her husband Dave of Chamblee, Georgia, and Cindi Chevront and her husband John of East Liverpool; six grandchildren, Stephen Claghorn of Loganville, Ga., Michael Dopler of Las Vegas, Nev., Sarah Robinson of Charlotte, N.C., John Chevront Jr. of East Liverpool, Michelle Chevront of Youngstown, and Kara Chevront of East Liverpool; and four great-grandchildren Stephen, James, Darcey and Holt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Leroy Small, Lee Kriner, John Smith and Richard Smith.
As per Beverly's request, no services or calling hours are planned.
