EAST LIVERPOOL - Charles R. Hull, 87, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday morning, Sept. 27, 2013, at East Liverpool City Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born in East Liverpool on Dec. 4, 1925, a son of Delbert R. and Frances Clark Hull.
Charles was retired from the Homer Laughlin China Company, in Newell, where he had worked 48 years as a forklift operator. Chuck was known as an avid East Liverpool Potters sports fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, L. Grace Hull, whom he married on Oct. 4, 1947.
Charles leaves behind a daughter: Amy Morris, and her husband Dennis; and a son, Steven Hull, and all of East Liverpool. Also surviving is a niece with whom he resided for 22 years, Sunshine Perry, and her husband Benji, and their children, Dominick, Whitney and Andrea. A sister Beverly Bolton, and her husband Ronald, of East Liverpool also survive. There are three grandchildren, Matthew and Aaron Morris, and Angela Wright; as well as four great-grandchildren.
Preceding Charles in death was a sister, Marjorie Adams, and brothers, Ronald Hull and Delbert "Jr." Hull.
Friends may visit from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday (today) at the Dawson Funeral Home, where the family will be present.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday (today) at the Dawson Funeral Home, with Pastor Mary Lou Hull of the House of Prayer. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
