SALEM-Lois Jean Malone Lynn, 77, passed away at 11:45 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at Circle of Care in Salem following a recent illness.
Mrs. Lynn was born June 14, 1936 in East Liverpool, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harry Lewis Malone and Esther Pearl (Pearson) Malone.
Before retiring she worked as a journeyman castor at the Hall China Company. She was also the co-owner and operator of the L.J. Lynn Farm Market.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ, she was the former wife of Thomas John Lynn.
She is survived by her daughters; Vickie Lee Hurst of Lisbon, Doris Jean Lynn of East Palestine, and Christina Marie Crowder of East Liverpool; son, Thomas John Lynn, Jr. of Wellsville. She had five brothers; seven sisters; 17 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Lynn was preceded in death by her grandson, Victor Lynn.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford, Ohio. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Tuesday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine.
