Yellow Creek Township Trustee Kenny Biacco reported Friday night that he and Trustee Larry Brewer went to Hibbetts Mill Road about a mile off state Route 45 where trash had been dumped. They found the name of Josh Long, Bank Street, East Liverpool, on several papers as well as his date of birth and Social Security number on some of them. Long told them he contracts with the city for trash pickup and he has no idea how the trash got there. Long said he would clean up the trash, which he did. Biacco was concerned someone may have stolen his trash and now has Long's personal information.
A caller reported a male walking on the road near Grant and Steubenville Pike in Center Township at 11:17 p.m. Thursday. It was a neighbor who explained he has no reception in his house and comes outside to talk on the phone.
A Cusick Road resident reported at 11 p.m. Thursday he believes there is drug dealing in the area as several vehicles have been pulling into a vacant house near Cusick and Applegate, a neighbor meets them there and then they leave. A deputy checked but saw no vehicles. He will pass on the information to the task force.
Brandon Hyder came to the station at 5:20 p.m. Thursday saying his soon-to-be ex was following him from work. Hyder said she has filed a domestic against him in Mahoning County and he was ordered to have no contact with her. He has since moved to this county and does not want her to know where he lives.
Nicole Kuemerle, Lakeview Road, Hanoverton, reported Thursday there was a $664 charge on her debit card from Walmart.com made by someone in Illinois. The card was canceled and Walmart notified.
A state Route 267, East Liverpool, resident reported at 11:21 p.m. Wednesday a vehicle pulled into the driveway with the lights shining on the house. When she turned the flood lights on, it left.
Dwayne Burkette, Dutchtown School Road, Rogers, reported at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday a neighbor was cleaning out the apartment next door and found items he thought may be drug related. A deputy determined they were not.
A deputy responded to a reported domestic on Mahoning Avenue, Homeworth, at 12:07 p.m. Saturday. It had been an argument and the wife had calmed down when the deputy spoke with her.
