As a concerned resident of downtown East Liverpool, I am bothered by a house that has been abandoned since 2007, on the corner of Monroe Street and West Church Lane.
I have called several city officials several times to address that house and have it taken down.
The bushes and weeds have taken over the outside of the house and now the pad-locked doors have been pushed open.
Our neighborhood is concerned for all the adults and children that live near this house. We do not want to have it become occupied by street people or worse.
Someone needs to look into this matter as soon as possible.
Our safety is a major concern for those who live in the downtown area.
