GLENMOOR - Amanda Honaker Land of East Liverpool, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at the home of her parents following a one year battle with cancer. She was 33.
Born Jan. 28, 1980, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of Timothy and Patricia Ross Honaker of Glenmoor. She most recently worked as a caregiver at Allegheny Valley School until her illness. She cherished her family and her close friends and loved to sing Karaoke.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Bob and Fern Honaker of Calcutta; an aunt, Carolyn Curcio of Gilbert, Ariz.; and three uncles, Mike Ross, and his wife Alice, of East Liverpool, Rick Honaker of Calcutta, and Ralph Honaker of Cleveland.
There are three cousins, Angie Langer, Tony Curcio and Chrissy Webber; as well as Jalen Lewis who her uncle helped raise.
She also leaves behind her best friend in the whole world, Tonyea VanDyke, and her husband Jimmy, and their children Nick, Hannah and Andrea, all of East Liverpool.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe and Peg Ross; an uncle, Georgie Ross; and a cousin Kimmie Ross.
