EAST LIVERPOOL - Joan M. Laughlin, of Lisbon Street, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at the Nentwick Convalescent Home following a lengthy illness. She was 54.
Born in San Raphael, Calif., she was a daughter of James and Jean McLane Laughlin of Bonita, Calif. She was Episcopalian by faith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Cassandra M. Davis, and her husband James Scott Davis, of Wellsville; and a son, William Gibson, and his fiancee Dannielle Hess, of East Liverpool; as well as a sister, Jaime Laughlin Slayton, and her husband Kenneth, of Nuevo, Calif.
There are three grandchildren, Kylie Marie Davis, Khloe Gibson and William "Taz" Gibson.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Davis.
Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present. The Rev. Mary Vidmar of St. Stephens Episcopal Church will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
