ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. - Mr. Charles Lee Rogers, age 83, of Adairsville, Ga., formerly of East Liverpool, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at the residence.
He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, on Nov. 1, 1929, son of the late Ralph and Olive Talbott Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Florence, Ala. and Elks Lodge No. 1883, where he was an avid golfer. He had retired from Pressure Concrete after over 20 years of service. He was a master carpenter, enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.
His wife, Helen Schingler Rogers, preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Jack Rogers, Ralph Rogers Jr, and Hollis Rogers.

Survivors include his three daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Richard Adams of Adairsville; Sally Caughey of Goose Creek, S.C.; and Lee Ann and Ben Andrews of Addison, Ala.; two sons and daughter-in-law, David and Cindy Rogers of Calhoun and Steve Rogers of Adairsville; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Doris Rogers of East Liverpool, Ohio; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Rogers of East Liverpool, Ohio, Nora Lee Rogers of Lisbon, Ohio, and Shirley Jasenec of East Liverpool, Ohio.
Pallbearers will be Adam Blair, Eric Rogers, Scott Rogers, Erik Andrews, Christian Jones-Caughey, and Rich Adams II.
Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home, where the family will be present. The Rev. Eric M. Edward of St. John Lutheran Church will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
