EAST LIVERPOOL - Gordon L. Aguinaga, 76 passed away on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at his home following a brief illness.
Born in Ponca City, Okla., on Aug. 25, 1937, he was a son of the late Pedro and Erma Vaughmar Aguinaga.
Gordon was a retired Site Superintendent for Dow Chemical and most recently he volunteered at P.W.S. Welding in East Liverpool.
A Christian by faith, he was veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Winna Fay Phillips Aguinaga; a brother, Ramon Aguinaga and a sister, Dorothy.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Pinkerton of Freeport, Texas; a sister with whom he resided, Betty Caudill of East Liverpool; three other sisters, Darlena Redwine of Texas; Alice Smith of Calif.; and Jonnni Frazier of Texas; brothers, Tommy and Jacob Aguinaga of Kansas; a grandson, Chris (Lou Ann) Nichols; four other grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition there are four special nephews, Brett (Diana) Hambleton, Dave Hambleton, Les (Missy) Caudill, and Wes (Amy) Caudill.
No services are planned and his services were entrusted to the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
