EAST LIVERPOOL - Kay Sue Windle, 64, of East Liverpool, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at the Valley Hospice facility at Trinity East Hospital in Steubenville.
Born in East Liverpool, Aug. 15, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Orion and Eileen Buzzard Everson. A homemaker and stay-at-home-mom, she attended Beechwood Free Methodist Church at one time. She loved to play bingo and had been known to play 40 cards at one time, but the true love of her life was her husband and their family.
Her husband, Robert "Bob" Windle, preceded her in death on May 17, 2003. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Randy Taylor, and a brother, Dennis D. "Turk" Everson.
Three daughters survive, Patricia Vance, and her husband John, Crystal Straight, and her husband Chris, and Julie Mayfield, and her husband James, all of East Liverpool. There are three sisters, Mary Ice, and her husband Rick, of East Liverpool, Macel Joy, and her husband Ronnie, of Salineville, and Margaret Jackson, and her husband Richard, of East Liverpool; as well as three brothers, Joseph Everson, and his wife Margaret, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Keith Everson, and his wife Tammy, of East Palestine, and Jerry Everson, and his wife Brenda, of East Liverpool.
In addition, there are 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit Monday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m. The Rev. Charles Taylor will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
