In Municipal Court Thursday, Nathan L. Kapp, 23, Kelly Avenue, was fined $150 and sentenced to 180 days, 176 suspended, for domestic violence. For criminal damaging and resisting arrest, he was fined $150 and sentenced to 90 days, 86 suspended, each. He was placed on probation two years and given 20 hours of community service in lieu of his fines. An obstructing official business charge was dismissed.
Kristan R. Coleman-Cogar, 19, Ravenna, was fined $200, sentenced to 30 days, suspended, and placed on probation two years for theft.
Jessy L. Goodwin, 34, St. Clair Avenue, was fined $500, sentenced to 180 days, 120 suspended, and placed on probation two years for theft, second offense, with 64 hours of community service given in lieu of the fine. For falsification, second offense, he was sentenced to 10 jail days.
A trial was set Sept. 19 for Carl C. Payne Jr., 59, Maplewood Avenue, charged with theft and criminal damaging.
Pretrials were scheduled for Christopher Dorsey, 32, Erie Street, charged with assault, Sept. 12; Rebecca L. Gray, 31, Globe Street, criminal trespassing, Oct. 3; Jeronn M. Bell, 36, Railroad Street, domestic violence, second offense, Sept. 12; and Graylen L. Thornton, 26, Globe Street, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Sept. 18.
