An East Liverpool woman was sent to prison after getting convicted of additional charges while on probation for drug trafficking.

Christie L. Thrasher, 32, of West Fourth Street, was sentenced by Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Scott Washam to three years in prison after previously pleading guilty to two counts of selling drugs and one count of drug possesion.

Thrasher's sentence was ordered served at the same time as a six-month sentence for violating her probation. She was on probation from a 2010 drug trafficking charge when she was indicted on the additional drug charges in 2012.

She received mandatory credit for 166 days spent in the county jail on the charges.
