A Lisbon Street man reported his mailbox knocked from the post and cracked. He was not identified in reports.
Called to a fight at the Oasis Cafe at 1:55 a.m. Friday, officers reported finding two men standing close to each other in the lot who began to walk away as officers approached them. Although told to stop several times, the two men reportedly kept walking until Tasers were pointed at them. Lester R. Moore, 28, Columbus, told officers they had been fighting other people who had gone back into the bar before their arrival. Moore was sent on his way but was later found hiding in a corner, covered by brush and was charged with public intoxication. The other man initially identified himself as Raymond Smiley, but officers determined his identity as Ronald P. Clack, 28, Cleveland. While patting him down, officers reported finding in a pocket a small packet of suspected crack cocaine. Clack was charged with falsification and also had an active warrant out of Cleveland. Moore reportedly complained that officers beat him in the head while en route to the police station, but officers denied any such action, saying both Moore and Clack had cooperated fully with them.
