Ron Dillon, North Fort Myers, Fla., reported at 7:23 a.m. Thursday he parks his vehicle in a construction employee lot at the corner of Mechanicstown Road and state Route 644 and on Thursday found someone had taken his $500 stabilizer hitch from the back of his pickup. He believed it may have happened Wednesday afternoon.
Bonnie McDade, Colonial Drive, Columbiana, reported at 11:10 a.m. Friday her truck was repossessed by Performance GMC. She said the finance person at the dealership had told her not to make the first payment because they were going to get her a different loan. She bought the truck on June 8. A representative from Performance GMC called after learning McDade had called deputies and claimed the bank repossessed the pickup, not the dealership.
Sheridan Taylor, Madison Avenue, Salineville, reported at 3:39 p.m. Monday a 13-year-old son was being unruly.
Amanda Tennant, Washington Street, Salineville, reported at 4:14 p.m. Monday she believes someone she knows took her Samsung Galaxy tablet, which had been sitting on the back of her couch plugged in.
Robert England, Carey Road, Salem, reported at 11:26 a.m. Tuesday someone stole a Northwoods Realty sign from his property, possibly last Saturday night.
A deputy saw Rafael Colon, 37, Carey Road, Salem, walking in the woods of a neighbor's property, where he did not have permission to go. Colon had a warrant for failure to appear on a previous disorderly conduct charge. He was taken into custody on the warrant and additionally charged with criminal trespassing.
Heather Courtney, Parkview Drive, Lisbon, reported her neighbor was intoxicated and yelling at the drivers of vehicles passing the house at 5:43 p.m. Monday. She also believed he was letting children drink on his property. Deputies spoke with the neighbor, who said he yelled at one vehicle, which was speeding up the road. Deputies did not see any children drinking and warned him to stop yelling at passing vehicles.
Michelle Ivan, Hilltop Drive, Lisbon, reported at 5:50 p.m. Monday she saw a suspicious gray truck with two men inside going around her neighborhood. Deputies checked the area, but did not locate the vehicle.
John Bettis, Endley Road, Lisbon, reported at 2:41 p.m. Monday someone has been riding four wheelers on through his fields and he has kicked one man and his friends off several times. Bettis said he does allow people to ride there, but only those who let him know first.
James Hughes, Ravenswood, W.Va., reported at 9:57 p.m. Monday his ex-wife's husband spoke to Hughes on the phone making a threat about Hughes' son.
