In Municipal Court Monday, future court dates were set for several defendants by Judge Melissa Byers Emmerling.
Second arraignments were scheduled for DaNeil U. Prentice, 21, Wedgewood Street, charged with obstructing official business, Sept. 3; Brian A. Strauss, 40, Tiltonsville, driving under suspension and marked lanes, Sept. 6: and James J. Conrad, 35, Montrose Street, expired plates and two counts of driving under suspension, Sept. 12.
Pretrials were scheduled for Willie L. Curry, Y&O Road, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, Aug. 29; David J. Nonamaker, 36, Lisbon Street, disorderly conduct/intoxication, Sept. 25; and Graylen L. Thornton, 26, Globe Street, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Sept. 5.
In Municipal Court Tuesday, Norvil R. Roberts, 56, Pennsylvania Avenue Extension, was fined $475, sentenced to 30 days, 24 suspended, had his license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation two years for OVI. He was fined $100 and had his license suspended 180 days, each, on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. For open container, he was fined $100. A charge of endangering children was dismissed.
Dennis White Jr., 26, Holiday Street, was fined $100 and had his license suspended 180 days for possession of marijuana.
A second arraignment was set Sept. 4 for Noah J. Davis, 50, 6th Avenue, charged with domestic violence.
Pretrials were scheduled Oct. 29 for Frank Ash, Berkshire Road, housing code violation and Tim Winters, Orchard Grove, rental property license.
A jury trial was scheduled Nov. 21 for Steven Griffin, 39, Gromley Road, Salem, charged with domestic violence and two counts of aggravated menacing.
