Richard Parrish, Center Avenue, Lisbon, reported at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday a van pulled into an alley off Arter Street outside of Lisbon with four flat tires. A man and woman, later identified as Tony Hilton, East Eighth Street, East Liverpool, and Shannon Thrasher, Youngstown, were seen walking away. Lisbon police located Hilton and Thrasher on Center Street. Hilton claimed the owner of the vehicle, Richard McCarty, traded him the van in exchange for Hilton's car. However, deputies were unable to reach McCarty immediately and towed the van. When McCarty was later reached he informed deputies the van had been stolen.
Steve Joy, state Route 518, Lisbon, reported at 8:12 a.m. Wednesday he heard someone on the roof and saw two people waiving firearms in front of the windows. Deputies checked the area, but did not locate anyone.
Chad Baumgarner, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 1:18 a.m. Wednesday he heard someone trying to get into his trailer by trying the door knob. Deputies checked the area, but did not find anyone.
Robert Raitz, state Route 154, Lisbon, reported at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday he learned on Friday about an overdraft on his account and on Sunday was denied use of his debit card. He went to the bank on Tuesday and learned someone used his account number on Aug. 13 in two places in Europe for eight transactions totaling $2,376.
Barb Benkowski, Hillcrest Circle, East Palestine, reported at 11:29 a.m. Tuesday on Monday between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. she saw a white woman between 30 and 40 years old and black man in his 20's, both of whom she did not know walking in her neighborhood. She spoke to them and they claimed they were with ADT. They looked legitimate, she told deputies, but their actions did not.
Marsha Fletcher, 46, Canterberry Court, Columbiana, was cited with passing on a double yellow line at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday after a deputy reported seeing her go completely left of center, crossing the lines and passing a Robert Bycroft school bus, which was slowing to turn onto County Home Road from U.S. Route 30. In an attempt to get out of the ticket, Fletcher reportedly claimed the father of her children is a Mahoning County deputy.
Brianne Benyi, Hatcher Road, East Palestine, reported at 6:51 p.m. Tuesday she purchased a home about three weeks ago and it was unoccupied. Despite replacing the locks, they found two doors of the home open and two door knobs broken off on Tuesday. They found a sheet of paper on the table with the name Safe Guard Properties on it and called the company, who said there is no way the house was mistaken as still vacant.
Gloria Moffett, Union Ridge Road, Negley, reported at 10:32 p.m. Monday there were four wheelers in the area, but deputies did not locate any.
Tara Reid, Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, reported at 7:31 p.m. Monday someone stole her body wash from her home.
