After being notified Saturday night of an intoxicated woman on Shadyside Avenue trying to get a ride to the downtown area, officers reported finding Alexis P. Mitchell, 37, Michigan Avenue and arrested her for disorderly conduct. While searching her purse, officers reported finding a small bag of suspected cocaine in a pill bottle.
Officers stopped a northbound vehicle on state Route 7 Wednesday for a broken tail light lens and found it was a Tri-State Cab carrying two passengers. The woman inside was reportedly trying to conceal her face with her hair and, when asked, gave a name that did not match the photo officers pulled up on their computer. When officers told her she looked like someone he knew, the woman asked, "Who? Pam Risbeck?" saying she "gets that a lot," and that Risbeck is her sister. When confronted with the photograph, the woman admitted being Risbeck, 37, 414 Ogden Street, who officers learned had an outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody for the warrant and also charged with falsification. While the officer was retrieving Risbeck's belongings from the cab, he found a pair of shorts and bottle of lotion and discovered in the shorts pockets a digital scale with white residue. Risbeck was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
