Columbiana County Sheriff Reports for 7-12

Johnette Teli, South Freedom Avenue, Alliance, reported at 12:33 a.m. Thursday her vehicle was disabled in high water on South 12th Street at Buck Road. The North Georgetown Fire Department helped her from her vehicle and it was left there until the water receded.

Bruce Willis, West Oregon, Sebring, reported at 8:44 p.m. Wednesday his vehicle was struck while parked in the Dollar General lot on U.S. 62 in Knox Township. He exchanged information with the other driver, who was reportedly Samantha Poteet, Johnson Avenue, Alliance.

Edie Kemper, state Route 7, New Waterford, reported at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday sometime overnight someone smashed her mailbox.

Anthony Mariol, Berry Road, Kensington, reported at 1:37 a.m. Thursday he was driving on state Route 644 near Mechanicstown Road when something hit his passenger door window, shattering it. He thought someone may have been running through the woods when he stopped.

Amber Sherwood, Bethesda Road, Hanoverton, reported at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday she has been noticing some of her diet medication missing from the pill bottle. On Tuesday only one was remaining when she pulled the pill bottle from its hiding place. Over the past 10 days about 21 pills have disappeared.
