Rex E. Crawford, 60

EAST LIVERPOOL - Loving husband, father and grandfather, Rex E. Crawford, 60, of East Liverpool passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at East City Hospital following a brief illness.

Rex was born on Jan. 22, 1953 in Salem, Ohio, to the late Harley J. Crawford and Dorkis Mellot Artrup.

His most precious times were being with his family. Rex loved to golf, boat, and ride his motorcycle.

He served his country with the US Navy and was member of the American Legion in East Liverpool.

Rex was currently employed as a mold maker at Hall China where has worked for the past 37 years.

Prior to entering the military he attended Beaver Local Schools.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Crawford, his sister, Connie Crawford, and his nephew, Jack A. Artrup.

Missing him very much will be his wife, Maureen Reardon Crawford at home, his sons, Rex E. Crawford and Steven Eric Crawford of Austintown, and Nicholas Zane Crawford of East Liverpool; his daughter, Jessica Crawford of Lisbon. He also leaves several grandchildren including Alexis Gillingham, and Waylon Crawford, his sisters, Tina Campbell of Bangor, Mich.; Carol Schmidt and Wilma Redman of East Liverpool; and his brothers, William Crawford of East Palestine, Michael Crawford of Lisbon, and Jack Artrup of Rogers.

The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, where no services are planned, has been entrusted with his care.
