In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Tuesday, James M. Bowersock, 25, Clarkson Road, Rogers, was fined $300, required 40 hours of community service, sentenced to three days in jail and had his license suspended for six months for lane violations and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense. A motion hearing was set for April 23 for additional charges against Bowersock of driving under suspension and failure to control.
In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday, a March 28 preliminary hearing was set for Randy J. Callehan, 22, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with breaking and entering. Sheriff's deputies reportedly tracked Callehan down by following broken beer bottles from the broken window at the American Legion in Salineville on Tuesday.
Bennie R. Lewis, 30, Youngstown, was fined $130 for speeding and driving without a valid license amended from driving in violation of a driving restriction.
A March 28 pretrial was set for Adam L. Lodge, 21, Aetna Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business and drug abuse. Salem police allege Lodge ran from them and was found with suspected marijuana and a pipe in his pocket after he was caught.
An April 2 pretrial was set for John A. Stoffer, South Broadway, Salem, cited with driving under suspension, a seat belt violation and possession of drug abuse instruments. Court documents allege he had a crack pipe in his pocket, which he voluntarily gave to Perry Township police.
An April 16 pretrial was set for Lauren R. Pearson, 28, Commerce Street, Wellsville, cited with OVI second offense, failure to display a valid sticker and a seat belt violation.
An April 18 pretrial was set for Andrea T. McFarland, 27, Grant Street, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension and two counts of drug paraphernalia. Court documents allege McFarland had a crack pipe with a metal filter and a spoon with white residue on the top and burned on the bottom.
