East Liverpool Police Reports 3-21

March 21, 2013
The Review

Officers were called to the Dollar General on Walnut Street, where Samantha Dawson said a woman she knows had thrown a rock or brick at her father's car, damaging the windshield. The woman had left in a vehicle, which was stopped by police, who reported smelling marijuana coming from inside. The driver, James Heath, 20, St. Clair Avenue, was reportedly found with a bag of marijuana and $840 in cash, while his passenger, Chelsea Baker, no age or address listed, was reportedly found to have $1,004 in cash in her pants pocket. According to reports, Heath and Baker gave conflicting stories about where they got the cash, from saying it was from tax returns to bank withdrawals to gifts. Neither one has a job, police reported. The money was seized. Several pinch bags were reportedly found on the floor of the vehicle. Heath was charged with possession of marijuana. Reports did not indicate any charges against Baker.
