Paula E. “Winnie” Crooms

CHESTER - Loving and caring mother and grandmother Paula E. "Winnie" (Banks) Crooms passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013, at her home in East Liverpool.

Paula was a member of St. James AME Church in Cadiz, Ohio, and for 35 plus years she was a diligent education coordinator for the Community Action Agency.

Born in Cadiz, Ohio, on Feb. 4, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Pauline Cooper Banks.

Her husband, Charles D. Crooms Sr, preceded her in death.

Paula is survived by her son, Charles D. Crooms Jr (Michaela) of East Liverpool; daughters, Ricki Paul of Canton, Cheri Cutlip (Floyd) of East Liverpool, Teresa Calhoun (Rob) of East Liverpool and Paula Stash (Greg) of Columbus. In addition she is survived by 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Paula's life will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where her family will receive friends that day from 11 a.m. up until the time of the service.

Pastor Mark Blakely of the Wellsville First Christian Church will officiate.
