Lonnie Kidder, Sr.

LISBON, Ohio - Lonnie E. Kidder, Sr., 70, of st. Rt. 45, Lisbon, died late Friday evening, March 1, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Kidder was born in Kings Creek, W.Va., on Oct. 29, 1942, son of the late Claude and Evelyn Dailey Kidder.

He retired as a truck driver and member of Teamsters Local #92, last driving for PI & I Trucking.

Surviving at home is his wife, Connie Elkins Kidder.

Also surviving are four daughters, Susan Ring, of East Liverpool, Linda Van Dyke, of Lisbon, Cheryl Morris, of East Liverpool and Lora Eiler of East Liverpool. His son, Lonnie E. Kidder, Jr. of East Liverpool also survives along with 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

There are two sisters, Vivian Bently, of Apopka, Fla., and Joan Messenger, of Wellsville, and two brothers, Claude Kidder, of Vine Grove, Ky. and Jerry Kidder of Hanoverton, Ohio.

A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Jay Radman on March 24th at 3:30 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends and family will then gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
