ELKTON -A local man was flown by helicopter to an area hospital after being involved in an ATV accident early Sunday morning.
Tiffany Prendergast, Scroggs Road, called the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office at 4:39 a.m. to report the accident, which occurred on her property and apparently involved Fred Prendergast.
No other details were available, but the Lisbon Fire Department was called at 5:02 a.m. to establish a landing zone for a helicopter to pick up Mr. Prendergast for transportation to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
