Columbiana County Municipal Court for 3-13

In Columbiana County Municipal Court this week, Kristopher A. Dean, 18, West Martin Street, East Palestine, was fined $1,575, sentenced to 180 days in jail and had his license suspended for 540 days for OVI second offense, driving under suspension, underage consumption and possession of K2 spice.

Jonathan M. Pipkins, 26, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $925, had his license suspended for a year and was sentenced to 180 days in jail for speeding and OVI second offense amended from third offense.

Kourtney D. L. Wright, 21, Railroad Street, Alliance, was fined $1,125, had her license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to one day in jail with three additional days in school for OVI first offense, driving under suspension, failure to control and possession of marijuana.

Laura D. Mason, 40, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $900, had her license suspended for one year, sentenced to a three day jail sentence and 50 hours community service for a tail lights violation and OVI first offense amended from second offense.

Karen Sue Baker, 60, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, was fined $735, had her license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to 20 days in the county jail for OVI first offense, marked lanes and a failure to signal violation.

Heather L. Hickman, 22, Sidehill Road, East Liverpool, was fined $705, had her license suspended for six months, required 15 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense, failure to control and a seat belt violation.

Paul D. Cline, 42, Canton, was fined $330, had his license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to three days in jail for leaving the scene of an accident, no license and failure to yield.

Malakia Z. Hilton, was fined $275 and required 25 hours community service for speeding and disorderly conduct amended from improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle for a Glock handgun on the front seat with a loaded magazine in the center console.

Scott Allen Wetzel Jr., 19, Malone Road, Salineville, was fined $275 and required 60 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension, a stop sign violation and disorderly conduct amended from drug paraphernalia for an alleged glass smoking pipe.

Deborah Ramsey, 50, Hanna Drive, Hanoverton, was fined $250 and credited with one days served in jail for persistant disorderly conduct for being extremely intoxicated and belligerent with with her boyfriend and police, who were trying to calm her down.

Lee N. Givens, 26, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Cody T. Mickey, 21, Roberts Road, Leetonia, was fined $150 for failure to control. An OVI charge was dismissed on a motion of the prosecutor's office due to evidentiary issues.

Shawn R. Williams, 35, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for prohibitions concerning companion animals after he allegedly neglected a dog by allowing it to lay in the yard with open bite wounds and festering with maggots for more than a day.

Rolando Villegas, 35, Youngstown, was fined $100 for bad check for a $277 check written to West Point Truck Center in April 2009.

Chad R. Anderson, 21, Spillway Road, Lisbon, was fined $100 for driving under FRA suspension.

Brenda L. Stockman, 43, East Woodland Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $100 for speeding.

Adam James Sevek, Clarks Mill Road, Salineville, was fined $100 for speeding.

A failure to control citation against Deon Costanzo, 54, Front Street, New Waterford, was dismissed.

A failure to appear or unpaid fine suspension citation was dismissed against Megan L. Corfee, 23, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, due to a Bureau of Motor Vehicles error.

Crystal A. Kind, 21, West 16th Street, Salem, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from failure to control.

Michael L. Mick, 56, Fairview, W.Va., was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from commercial speed.

Craig Minor, 20, West Ely Street, Alliance, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession. Court documents claim Minor had less than 200 grams of marijuana at the Foxes Den in Salem.

William Tomlin, 19, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 1800 days for marijuana paraphernalia for an orange pipe in his car.

Shanna E. Gilbert, 22, South Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $100 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

Robert McNeely, 35, state Route 172, East Rochester, was fined $50 for unauthorized plates and failure to display a valid sticker. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.

A possession of a controlled substance charge against Joseph M. Blake, 21, Foulks Drive, East Liverpool, was dismissed on a motion of the state. Blake had been accused of having both a marijuana roach and a baggie of suspected crack cocaine in his pocket on March 4.

A drug abuse charge against Michelle Peuterbaugh, 39, state Route 9, Hanoverton, was dismissed. Peuterbaugh allegedly had Oxycodone, which she told a sheriff's deputy about when she was stopped on a warrant on Jan. 26. The charge was refiled as a possession of a dangerous drug charge and combined with another case where she faces charges of drug paraphernalia and two other counts of possession of dangerous drug for alleged Gabapentin and Promethazine Hydrochloride.

A driving under suspension charge was dismissed against Timothy F. Boafor, 32, Youngstown.

A March 14 pretrial was set for Jacob D. Keenan, 21, Quay Road, Negley, cited with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct for allegedly walking while intoxicated on Chippewa Trail, Negley, then cursing and becoming combative when police at first asked him to stop then tried to take him into custody.

A March 18 pretrial was set for Jason C. Sorrentino, 28, last known address Woodland Avenue, Salem, cited with receiving stolen property for allegedly on Sept. 19 having a bicycle in his possession which had been reported stolen.

A March 18 pretrial was set for Travis Jeffery, 33, Washington Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence after allegedly striking his girlfriend, Roxanne Parrish, in the head on Friday at their home.

An April 15 pretrial was set for Jeffery D. Matthew, 37, Malvern, cited with emergency vehicles proceeding cautiously. Matthew is accused of making a left turn into a private driveway off South Lincoln avenue at the same time his vehicle was being passed by an ambulance driven by Joseph Walker and owned by KLG. A patient was being transported in the ambulance, which struck Matthew's vehicle.

An April 15 pretrial was set for April D. House, 38, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, cited with obstructing official business for allegedly hiding the identity of a person police believed to by Larry Evans, when they came to her home looking for him on Friday.

An April 16 pretrial was set for Katrina M. Stanko, 41, Warren, charged with OVI first offense and speeding.

An April 22 pretrial was set for Michael E. Mayer, 19, Unity Line Road, New Waterford, was cited with underage consumption after East Palestine police were called to a home on Leake Street regarding loud music and underage drinking on Friday.

An April 22 pretrial was set for Janice C. Allmon, 68, Cleveland Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly attempting to interfere with attempts to take her son, Christian Weimer, into custody on a warrant on Friday.
