Jane Capehart
EAST LIVERPOOL - Jane E. Capehart, 95, of East Liverpool, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the Nentwick Convalescent Home.
Born in East Liverpool, Nov. 24, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Harry H. Gabbert and Frances Parsons Gabbert Smurthwaite.
She was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1935 and was a member of the First Church of Christ, Disciples. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Highland Golf Course in Glenmoor which later became Cedar Hills Golf Course.
Her husband, Ira Douglas Capehart, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Brophey of East Liverpool, and Sylvia Lesko of Gilbert, Ariz.,; a son, Douglas Capehart of Clearwater, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Dawson Funeral Home. Rev. Willard "Chuck" Adkins will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
