William R. "Bob" Campbell, 91
EAST LIVERPOOL -William R. "Bob" Campbell, 91, most recently of East Liverpool, passed away at 2 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 9, 1921, in Wellsville, a son of the late Franklin D. and Pearl Crozier Campbell.

A 1941 graduate of Wellsville High School, he was a charter member and board member of the Athletic Hall of Fame there. Following high school, he served his country as a Pharmacists Mate with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
For much of his adult life, he resided in the state of Washington and was associated with Boeing Aircraft Corporation as a punch press operator, retiring after 25 years of service. He returned to this area in 1991.
A member of Holy Trinity Parish, he also belonged to the Knights of Columbus in Wellsville and the 30 Plus 30 group.
Preceding him in death on Jan. 4, 2006, was his wife, Regina A. Campbell.
Bob is survived by his three daughters, Marty Mann and her husband, Ken, of Toronto, Ohio; Brenda Roy and her husband, Guy, of East Liverpool; and Renee Bishop of Tacoma, Washington; along with his son, Darrell L. Campbell of East Liverpool. There are eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Dave Campbell, Chuck Campbell and Paul Campbell, along with an infant sister.
Friends may visit Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Parish at 10 a.m. Thursday, with Father Peter Haladej officiating. Interment will take place at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens where the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
