This was all that was left of a camper that burnt Sunday evening off of McGuffey Drive in Calcutta. There was no one living in the camper or anywhere on the property. Firefighters with the St. Clair Township, Glenmoor and Liverpool Township fire departments responded to the scene at 7:13 p.m. Firefighters had to use four wheel drive vehicles to reach the fire because the property was accessible only by a long and muddy driveway that would have been impassable with heavy pumper trucks. When the St. Clair Township fire department arrived on the scene there were fires burning in three separate locations around the property leading Fire Chief Scott Smith to believe the fires were set intentionally. No suspects have been identified for igniting the blaze. No injuries were reported. (Photo by Devin Bezeredi)
