Noe Salinas-Vasquez, Bye Road, East Palestine, reported at 8 a.m. Monday sometime overnight someone stole his Polaris four wheeler, which had been parked next to his home with the key removed. He found footprints in the snow from behind his home and the ATV was pushed into the neighbor's driveway, then possibly into a truck.
Heather Bable, Hamilton Road, East Palestine, reported at 3:21 p.m. Monday she has been having ongoing problems with the neighbors blowing their horns and making obscene gestures when they drive by. The neighbor told deputies the family always honks and waves goodbye to each other when they leave, but are not directing any gestures at the neighbor.
Bob Shultz, Pancake-Clarkson Road, Rogers, reported at 8:33 p.m. Sunday someone has been trespassing on his property. Deputies checked the area, but found no one.
Stephany Plunket, state Route 518, Lisbon, reported suspicious activity at a home on West Point Road at 3:58 p.m. Sunday. Deputies checked the home, but it appeared to be secure.
Janice Logan, Rose Drive, Lisbon, reported at 2:46 p.m. Wednesday she received a call from someone with a foreign accent attempting to sell her something. She explained she is on the do not call list and not interested. The man then started using vulgar language toward her and she hung up on him.
Rhonda Monigold, Haiti Road, Salineville, reported at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday someone dropped two kittens in a carrier box onto the roadway near her home. The kittens were about six months old. Deputies contacted the Columbiana County Humane Society, but they were closed for the day. Alchemy Acres agreed to take the kittens.
A Seigler Road, Lisbon boy reported at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday he and his father had been arguing. When the mother got between them the father was flailing his arms and accidentally struck her in the mouth. She refused to pursue criminal charges.
Erika Boyd, Mountz Road, Homeworth, reported at 2:04 a.m. Wednesday she and her boyfriend argued about her getting a notice from Stark County about a case against her. They got into a shoving match, but both refused to prosecute the other.
Nancy McLaughlin, Y and O Road, Wellsville, reported at 7:03 a.m. Tuesday sometime overnight someone damaged her daughter's vehicle with a mailbox, which was laying in pieces around the driveway.
Dean Litner, Water Street, Salineville, reported at 7:48 p.m. Tuesday there were several youngsters throwing rocks at the Church of Christ in Salineville. Deputies checked the area, but did not find the children. No damage was found at the church.
Nicole Grimm, East Main Street, Salineville, reported at 8:22 p.m. Tuesday a young boy was walking the streets and crossing in front of cars with no one watching him. Deputies checked the area, but did not find the child.
Deputies making a traffic stop on state Route 11 near Calcutta at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday found the driver Samuel Swick, Osbourne Road, Wellsville, had a warrant. He was placed into custody and taken to the county jail.
