NEWELL - Dr. Orlang and his wife, Kellie are opening a free medical clinic for people who attend the Newell First Church of the Nazarene. The clinic will be open 2-5 p.m. Wednesdays in Dr. Orlang's office, 501 Jefferson Street, East Liverpool. All appointments are to be made through the church or Dr. Orlang on Sundays. WEIRTON - A National Rifle Association Basic Pistol safety course has been scheduled at the Hancock County Sportsmans Association, Weirton W.Va.
The 12-hour course will be presented in two parts; one 4-hour session 6-10 p.m. Friday, April 5 and an 8-hour session starting 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6.
Fully certified NRA firearms instructors will present this 12- hour course. The class includes lectures, as well as live firing of handguns. This is a nationally accredited course, which is approved by multiple states including West Virginia, Ohio and Florida as a requirement prior to applying for a concealed weapons carry permit. Pre-registration is required due to the limitation of class size, to ensure adequate live firing experience.

STEUBENVILLE - Introduction to UFOs is a tuition-free class available soon at Eastern Gateway Community College. The 10-week class runs 6-8 p.m. Mondays, beginning March 18. Deadline to register is March 11.
Learn from research that has been conducted during the last 50 years to gain a better understanding of the UFO phenomena. Topics include UFO occurrences, investigations, alien abductions, bigfoot, and mutilations.
