EAST LIVERPOOL - The Elks Lodge 258 will have Wings and Fries 5-8 p.m. today. The cost is $7 a dozen. All members and their guests are welcome.

NEWELL - Dr. Orlang and his wife, Kellie are opening a free medical clinic for people who attend the Newell First Church of the Nazarene. The clinic will be open 2-5 p.m. Wednesdays in Dr. Orlang's office, 501 Jefferson Street, East Liverpool. All appointments are to be made through the church or Dr. Orlang on Sundays. Do not call his office to make an appointment.

The only requirement is that you must be regular attendees of Newell First Church of the Nazarene. If you have any questions, call the church at 304-387-0285 or stop by 3rd and Grant Street, Newell.

WEIRTON - A National Rifle Association Basic Pistol safety course has been scheduled at the Hancock County Sportsmans Association, Weirton W.Va.

The 12-hour course will be presented in two parts; one 4-hour session 6-10 p.m. Friday, April 5 and an 8-hour session starting 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6.

Fully certified NRA firearms instructors will present this 12- hour course. The class includes lectures, as well as live firing of handguns. This is a nationally accredited course, which is approved by multiple states including West Virginia, Ohio and Florida as a requirement prior to applying for a concealed weapons carry permit. Pre-registration is required due to the limitation of class size, to ensure adequate live firing experience.

LISBON The Columbiana County Health Department now offers the food safety certification, ServSafe. You must register at least three weeks prior to class. This is a two day interactive class that is offered twice a year, April 22 and 23, or October 21 and 22. To register for the class, call Shannon Sellards at 330-424-0272 ext. 128

STEUBENVILLE - Introduction to UFOs is a tuition-free class available soon at Eastern Gateway Community College. The 10-week class runs 6-8 p.m. Mondays, beginning March 18. Deadline to register is March 11.

Learn from research that has been conducted during the last 50 years to gain a better understanding of the UFO phenomena. Topics include UFO occurrences, investigations, alien abductions, bigfoot, and mutilations.
