EAST LIVERPOOL - Helen Keller Sillince, long-time resident of East Liverpool, passed away at The Woodlands Assisted Living Center in Columbus, on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Helen was 95.
Born in Russell, Kansas, in 1917, Helen was married to the late William R. Sillince, who passed away in 1991. Helen retired as an office manager at Loblaw's Supermarket in 1972. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
Surviving her are two daughters: Connie Sue Mikulski and her husband, Stanley, of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Judy Braun and her husband Ben, of Columbus. There are two granddaughters, Amy Rebecca Braun, of Boston, Mass., and Sarah Elizabeth Braun of Houston, Texas. Also surviving is one sister, Lucille Ryan of Auburn, Wash., along with sisters-in-law Gwen Hales and Ruth Croxall of East Liverpool, and Marion Keller of North Dakota.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, where the family will be present. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mary Vidmar of St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
Burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park. Family and friends will then gather at the Dawson Family Center immediately after.
