Columbiana County Municipal Court for 3-6

The Review

In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday Christopher C. Stevens, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for failure to control and physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Joshua Charles Bricker, 21, state Route 45, Salem, was fined $405, required 20 hours community service, had his license suspended for six month and sentenced to three days in jail for failure to control, a seat belt violation and physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Michael P. Esenwein, 27, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $250 and credited with 19 days already served for criminal damaging for driving a vehicle owned by Tiffany Michalak into a car belonging to Paul Kern and pushing it three feet before driving away on Sept. 7, 2012. A restitution hearing was set for May 7.

Joshua R. Andrews, 22, North Walnut Street, East Palestine, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in jail and required 80 hours community service for a fourth offense driving under suspension. A domestic violence charge against Andrews was dismissed due to an inability to find the victim, April Nail, who initially claimed she was assaulted by him at an England Drive home on Sept. 13, 2012.

Tammy L. Godwin, 48, South Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

James O. Moats, 75, U.S. Route 30, Kensington, was fined $150 for prohibition against violations of board of health orders for failing to abate a dumping nuisance and burning of solid waste on his property as he was ordered to do in May by the health department.

Edward A. Lohnes, 44, Fairway Drive, Alliance, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

Caleb J. Watson, 36, Globe Street, East Liverpool, was fined $125 for no license and equipment misuse amended from driving under suspension and failure to control.

Jerusalem Trejo, 30, Fremont, was fined $100 for no license.

An April 8 pretrial was set for Levi D. Holloway, 19, Crestview Road, Leetonia, charged with OVI first offense, hit skip, failure to control and reckless operation.

An April 9 pretrial was set for Craig K. Smith, 19, state Route 14, Columbiana, cited with underage consumption.

An April 1 pretrial was set for David L. Scarry, 26, Hoopes Road, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and tail lights violation.

An April 8 pretrial was set for Robert A. Berdine, 27, Carroll Road, East Liverpool, cited with lane violations.

An April 9 pretrial was set for Derrell F. Angle II, 50, state Route 164, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly breaking his wife's property and hitting her in the face multiple times on Sunday.

An April 11 pretrial was set for Brenda L. Lawson, 36, Bolivar Road, Wellsville, charged with OVI first offense and open container.

An April 15 pretrial was set for David A. Chaffin, 48, Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, charged with drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs and OVI first offense.
