Carolyn was happiest when she was helping others, and had a true servant's heart, volunteering for many years with the American Red Cross. She had assisted with many local and national disasters, most recently following Hurricanes Andrew and Hugo. A loyal "Potter" fan, she also rooted for the Cleveland Browns but her truest love was for her family.

A member of Northside Community Church, Carolyn's faith in God sustained her throughout her illness and recent loss. Her husband, Thomas "Jim" Czech, whom she married on July 24, 1966, passed away on December 27, 2012.

Carolyn was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Czech, as well as two brothers, Ben Weber and John Weber, and her in-laws, Thomas and Faye Czech.

She leaves behind her children: Lori Tenney and her husband, Rick; Thomas Czech, Jr., and Jason Czech, all of East Liverpool. There are eight grandchildren: Erin, Ethan and Erica Tenney; Brandon and Bryce Czech; Matthew and Meghan Czech; and Kaulin Wells.

Also surviving are a sister, Linda Weidger, of East Liverpool, and a brother, Philip Weber and his wife, Raven, also of East Liverpool, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Services will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Larry Rose of the church officiating. Burial will take place at Shadow Lawn Memorial Gardens, followed by a continued time of fellowship at the Dawson Family Center.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
