Salineville Police Reports 3-2

The Review

At 8:20 p.m. February 20 police responded to a stolen vehicle complaint at the B & K Beverage. The keys were left in vehicle with the motor running. Police filed a report.

On February 25 at 3:40 p.m. police arrested Sheridan Taylor, 58a Madison Ave, Salineville, for tampering with evidence. He was placed in the Columbiana County Jail.

On February 22 at 10:31 p.m. police responded to a Breaking and Entering complaint at a Water Street Residence. Officers checked the property, and gathered the information for the report.

On February 21 at 5:40 p.m. police responded to a West Main Street residence, because a female subject stated that she needed to speak with an Officer. Police spoke with the subject who stated that she read on Facebook that her boy friend, could be the subject of a particular investigation. Police then advised her that he was not, and that she needed to stop calling the emergency dispatcher, unless there was an emergency, because it is delaying the response time for actual emergency calls.

On February 19 at 5:30 p.m. police responded to a W. Main St. residence for a reported domestic. Upon arrival, officer found out that the domestic occurred the night prior. Officer did observe injuries on the victim and took photos. Officer attempted to locate the suspect but was unsuccessful. Warrants will be issued for the suspects. It was later found the Sheriff's Department responded to the incident and took a report.

On February 26 at 6:36 p.m. police responded to a Jefferson Street residence to remove a female from a household.

While on patrol February 23 at 9:30 p.m. an Officer found a vehicle on the side of the road. The Officer made contact with the owner he said it had broken down and he would get it in the morning.

At 12:50 p.m. on February 21 police received a call advising of the front door of an Academy St. residence was open and the dog got out. Caller wasn't sure if someone was in there or not. Spoke with Lori Pearson on the phone, she stated the front latch was broken and the wind blew the door open. She would have her daughter go there and fix it. Police asked if she wanted them to go check the house and she said no that her son stole everything of value out of it. A minute later, Lori's daughter called and said she would go over to the house.

On February 20 at 9:44 p.m. police responded to a complaint that a woman had sent her children to stay at someone's house, and would not bring them back. Police then spoke with the individuals who had the children, and they stated that they would be happy to take them home, if someone would tell them where they were staying. The children were then returned home.

On February 23 at 9:09 p.m. an Officer responded to a call from a East Main St. resident who suspected that there may have been someone on the property. An Officer checked the perimeter and found no evidence of anyone on the property.

On February 18 at 8:51 p.m. police responded to a possible fight at a W. Main St residence. Police arrived and found the parties were separated.
