In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Tuesday, a March 4 preliminary hearing was set for Sheridan S. Taylor, 22, Madison Avenue, Salineville, charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony. Court documents state Taylor allegedly took a digital CD from a case file on a desk at the Salineville Police Department when he was at the police station in connection with a domestic violence incident on Feb. 20. Additionally, he allegedly also gave evidence to the person being investigated in order to hinder police efforts.
Robert S. White Jr., 60, Jefferson Street, Lisbon, was fined $1,175, had his license suspended for two years and was sentenced to 180 days in jail for OVI second offense, driving under suspension and no valid sticker.
Ashley M. Rosenburg, 18, Cortland, was fined $925, sentenced to three days in jail, had her license suspended for one year and required 50 hours community service for OVI first offense, hit skip and failure to yield from a stop sign.
Matt G. Allen, 19, Pinetree Circle, East Palestine, was fined $250, credited with eight days in jail served and required 25 hours community service for receiving stolen property for rings belonging to Mary Miquelon, which he sent another woman into CashLand in Columbiana to sell.
Clayton Powell, 51, Monroe Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for persistent disorderly conduct for arguing and using abusive language after being told numerous times by police to stop.
Jacob R. Burcham, 31, Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license.
A March 25 pretrial was set for Jason Furbee, 30, Peace Valley Road, New Waterford, cited with driving under suspension for child support.
A March 26 pretrial was set for Anthony M. Gregory, 25, Mohican Trail, Negley, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.
An April 1 pretrial was set for David J. Murphy, 22, Westville Lake Road, Beloit, cited with OVI first offense and reckless operation.
An April 2 pretrial was set for Jason A. Hurst, 35, Teegarden Road, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense and driving without a valid license.
An April 4 pretrial was set for Jonathan Scott Percy, 21, state Route 46, New Waterford, cited with OVI first offense.
