GRAND ISLAND, Fla. - James M. Williams, 83, of Grand Island, Fla., and formerly of East Liverpool, died Feb. 20, 2013, following a prolonged illness.
Jim graduated from East Liverpool High School and later worked as manager of City Loan & Savings in Wellsville.
Most recently, Jim was employed as a real estate agent for Century 21 in Tavares, Fla. He was a lifetime member of the Elks and was, for many years, an active member of the Masonic Lodge in Mount Dora, Fla.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ila (Buzzard); their daughter, Laura Ashley, of Winter Park, Fla.; and a stepson, Steven Oldfield, of Naples, Fla.
Five children from his first marriage to Viola (Lynn) also survive him: Nancy (Dale) Fordham; Jim (Sarah) Williams, and Dan (Vicki) Williams, all of Ohio; Roxie (Jeff) Harbert of Houston, Texas; and Kaye Deane Hanson of Shreveport, La.; in addition to several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Harden-Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Fla., at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2. Those wishing to offer tributes may donate to the organization of their choice.
