Chelsea Elizabeth Lingenfelter, 21

WELLSVILLE - Chelsea Elizabeth Lingenfelter, 21, of Wellsville, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at The Cleveland Clinic following a long battle with liver disease.

She was born Sept. 9, 1991, in Wuerzburg, Germany. She was raised by her mother, Joni (Rodgers) Lingenfelter and Steve Logston, of Wellsville. Chelsea's father is Douglas Lingenfelter of Johnstown, Pa.

Chelsea graduated from Wellsville High School in 2010. She had attended Kent State University and Ashland University. She attended Wellsville First Christian Church.

Survivors include her maternal grandparents: Chuck and Charleen Rodgers; her paternal grandmother: Joyce Lingenfelter; her uncles and aunts: Gregg and Penny Rodgers, Pete and Shelly Lingenfelter, and Bill Lingenfelter; and her cousins: Tarrah (Brian) Afek, and Jaime Rodgers and her companion Shawn. Also surviving are her step-siblings: Will Logston and his companion Nicole, Brian Barger, and Jessi (Jeremy) Matuska; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Chelsea was preceded in death by her grandparents: Margaret and Kenneth "Buck" Logston.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the Wellsville First Christian Church, 831 Main St., with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the church officiating.

Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St. in Wellsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to: Home Savings and Loan c/o Joni Lingenfelter, 530 Broadway, East Liverpool, OH 43920. The donations will be used to promote organ donor awareness and to establish a scholarship fund for future Wellsville High School graduates.
