A southbound vehicle driven by Shannon L. Fickle, 20, Oakwood Street and a northbound vehicle driven by Michaela G. Amato, 16, Foulk Avenue, collided on Dresden Avenue Saturday. Each blamed the other for the accident, and officers reported that, due to heavy snowfall, tire tracks were covered so they were unable to determine who was driving left of center. No charges were filed.
Terry A. Arnold, 75, Dunn Road, was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital by Lifeteam ambulance Saturday afternoon following a crash on St. Clair Avenue. According to reports, Arnold's vehicle was northbound when it went left of center across the southbound lane, striking a large pine tree and extensively damaging a retaining wall.
