Joan Stewart, 84
EAST LIVERPOOL - Joan Stewart, 84, of East Liverpool, died on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Joan was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on Aug. 16, 1928 to the late Frank and Lavina (McConahy) Dunne.
Joan is survived by her only child, Charlotte Stewart-Garvey and her husband Collin Garvey of Gillette, Wyo.; three grandchildren, Carrie (Jacob) Lawton of Negley, Ohio, Elizabeth (Warren) Jahn of Woodstock, Ga,, and James Garvey of Gillette, Wyo.; and three great-grandchildren, Paige Aurora Lawton, Preston Willett Lawton, and Warren Thomas Jahn III. Also surviving is her niece Sandra McClain of Mt. Vernon, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only sister, Norma Osterling.
Joan's family would like to thank the staff at Nentwicks Convalescent Home for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave Joan.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, North Lima.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Paul Weaver officiating.
